Shoes for the Horses - 1 set of 4

Each set of shoes lasts the horses 6 weeks

Fully shod - 8.6 sets of shoes per year

We are great believers in having our horses as natural as possible and would love for this to include having them all 'barefoot'.

However, because our farm is built on rock, we have found over the years this causes damage to their feet (no matter how strong they are) that can be greatly minimized with the use of shoes.

All our horses have at least front shoes on and those in full training or carriage driving have a full set. When the shoes have worn out their welcome and our removed by our farrier, Chris Milby, they go for sale in Merchandise for anyone who would like to have a lucky horseshoe from one of their favorite Friesians!
