Most of the photos you'll see of our Friesians on our website, YouTube channel and social media have been taken through the lens of professional animal photographer, Sandy Kitching. From years of photographing our horses, she's very familiar with their individual physicality, personalities, and quirks. This combined with her skill and artistic eye allow her to anticipate and catch the horses at their best.

While our guests are welcome to take photographs of their time at the Sanctuary. However, if you'd like a professional photographer to capture this special occasion, we can certainly recommend Sandy. Sandy and her husband, George, are long-time neighbors and dear friends, and we're fortunate they've extended their talents to the Sanctuary and our visitors over the years. They're also now proud parents to Maisey, one of the sweet Collie pups born to Jodie's Jim and Nell in 2024.
