THE FRIESIAN EXPERIENCES Overview

We believe in making our Experiences accessible and enjoyable for visitors of all ages and abilities.

No previous experience with horses is necessary. Our experienced team will be with you every step of the way.

We not only offer private Experiences year ‘round, but also hold a handful of public Events throughout the warmer weather months (April thru October). Our Open Days provide an opportunity to get to know the horses, people, and environs of Greenbank Farm. Our Insight Days are limited enrollment and take a deeper, more focused dive into the Friesian breed and our horses as individuals--their personalities and any health and wellness challenges they face. On our Beach Walking Days, we take a small group and several Friesians for a joyful amble and splash on the open sands at Bardsea Beach. Meet the Horses Tour

Meet all our horses, no matter where on the Farm they’re hanging about. We’ll stroll down the lane to our pastures, or ride in Arthur, our lovely temperature-controlled ATV seating two.

Friendship Barn Session

Spend relaxing, 1:1 therapeutic time with or adjacent to a gentle Friesian in a space designed to calm and rejuvenate. Grooming, kisses and cuddling encouraged!

Stable Stays

The unique, self-catering overnight accommodation shared with a gorgeous Friesian or mini-Shetland horse. Sleeps three (not counting your stable buddy). Live the Dream!

A day-in-the-life on the yard at the Friesian Experience! Meet our horses, whether they’re free-reining, getting fresh air and haylage in our outdoor turnouts, doing ground work in the arena, or getting shod by our farrier—whatever happens to be on for the day.
