CHRIS MILBY

Chris is an exceptional farrier who visits the yard every week to take care of our horses feet.  He has looked after our Friesians since 2006 and during that time has helped us deal with a number of challenges.  Whether its a lost shoe, an absyss, imbalances in the feet or looking at ways to support the general health of the horses hooves Chris always has an answer and way to resolve any issues we may be facing.  As we live in such a rocky part of the world we need to keep all the horses shod in order to support their feet.  Experience has told us over the years that being barefoot is not an option on our farm as it inevitably leads to problems with bruising and absyss.

 

Chris is not only a talented farrier he has also created some beautiful doors and a stunning double bunk bed for our unique Stable Stays accommodation.
