THE FARM
Greenbank Farm boasts 75 acres of land in the glorious Lake District National Park where the scenery is breathtaking; we have spectacular views from the farmhouse as it sits high above the Cartmel Valley.
Located just a mile from the beautiful, picturesque village of Cartmel, the farm dates back to the 17th century and is literally built into the fellside. It has been owned by our family for over 100 years and myself, my parents and our 5 original Friesian horses moved onto the farm in 2006. Previously a dairy and beef farm it is now a renowned equestrian establishment where Friesian Education and Wellness is at the heart of everything we do.
Our 7 bedroom farmhouse can be rented for short breaks with families, friends or colleagues where you can enjoy views of the Valley and the Friesians out in the fields whilst relaxing in our 7 seat Hot Tub in the front garden or from the private woodland tracks which house rental guests have access to. We offer bespoke services for holiday rentals including housekeeping, private chef, local tours and transport and activity planning.
Cartmel Village is home to a racecourse, pubs and great restaurants inc. Michelin starred L’Enclume, the ancient Priory and is the home of Sticky Toffee Pudding - what's not to love!
